In Memory of Queen Elizabeth II

The death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II is a profoundly sad moment for us all. Her life of dedication and service is beyond compare.  She was, indeed, a mother to the nations of the United Kingdom and The Commonwealth. On behalf of the people of Holybrook Parish, I convey my deepest condolences to the King and the Royal Family at this very sad time.

As a mark of respect, during the period of mourning, the Union Jack, in Linear Park, will lowered to half-mast. Only being raised, as is appropriate, during the Proclamation.

A book of condolence will be opened at Kennet Valley Free Church on Friday 9th September and available in Room 3 between the hours of 9.30am and mid-day and 2.00pm to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

There will be a two-minute silence at the start of the Full Council meeting on Monday 12th September.
