Holybrook Annual Parish Assembly celebrates community achievements and photography winners
Published: 02 April 2026
Holybrook Parish Council welcomed residents to the Annual Assembly of the Parish, marking a special year as the Parish celebrates its 25th anniversary.
The Assembly provided an opportunity to reflect on the Council's work over the past year, including continued investment in local facilities, environmental initiatives and improvements to community spaces. Updates were shared on projects such as enhanced park access, installation of solar panels at the community centre and ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the parish environment.
Speaking at the event, Cllr Claire Tull, Chairman of the Council said: "This past year has been another busy and productive one for the Council. Despite the challenges, we have continued to invest in our community, improve local facilities and strengthen the Parish environment. None of these would be possible without the dedication of our councillors, staff and residents, and it is something we can all be proud of."
Ahead of the Assembly, residents had the opportunity to engage with a range of local organisations, highlighting the strength of partnership working across the Parish. Organisations represented included Thames Valley Police (Pangbourne Neighbourhood Policing Team), Friends Place Care Home, Friends of Linear Park, Beansheaf Pre-School, the MS Therapy Centre and West Berkshire Council's Environment Department. Their presence provided valuable opportunities for residents to connect with local services and community groups.
