New refreshment kiosk ‘The Garage’ opens 5 August, official launch 30 August

We are delighted to announce that a brand-new refreshment kiosk, The Garage, will open behind the Beansheaf Community Centre in Linear Park on Tuesday, 5 August 2025.

Formerly a tractor garage, the space has been thoughtfully transformed into a warm and welcoming community refreshment spot. Operated by a well-loved local business- the team behind the award-winning Dee Caf in Tilehurst-The Garage will serve a range of freshly brewed drinks, light snacks, and the New Forest Ice Cream, with a few surprise treats for dogs. Open daily from 8am to 4pm, it’s the perfect place to relax, refuel, and enjoy the beauty of Linear Park.

The official opening ceremony will take place on Saturday 30 August at 11:30am. All are welcome to attend. Don’t forget to check the last page of our August newsletter for exclusive coupons offering a free drink and a free eco cup, redeemable on the day of the official launch.
