Bath Road / M4 Junction 12 closure

Bath Road/M4 (junction 12) roundabout in the parishes of Theale & Holybrook is to be closed. The closures will each to take place separately and in conjunction with some slip road closures onto and off the M4.
- North-easterly (toward Reading) over the Bath Road/M4 junction 12 roundabout
- South-westerly (toward Newbury) over the Bath Road/M4 junction 12 roundabout
Work will begin on 28th June 2021 for 12-15 weeks. The closures are expected to be in place on week days only, during the hours of 9pm to 6am (overnight).
The alternative route for all vehicles affected will be via (into Reading) A4, A4155, Northbound on Reading inner distribution Road, A329 (toward Pangbourne), A340 (toward Theale), and vice versa.
The purpose of the works is to enable Highways England to carry out a traffic signal upgrade.
The above restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, dates and times of the individual closures with their diversion routes will be advertised locally and on site when the works are finalised.
