VE Day 75 Celebration

Preparations for VE Day 75 are well underway and what a great event it is shaping up to be!

Holybrook Parish Council is very excited to offer its community this event for FREE.

Celebrations commence in Linear Park (Charrington Road) at 14:30.

With entertainment from Sainsbury Singers, dancers and The Ding, Dong, Daddios *.  All Celebrations will finish at 18:00.

Why not walk to the park with your family, friends and a picnic.  Get yourself settled in for an afternoon of shared celebration and entertainment?

Or you could reserve a table in the marquee for a small fee (please contact Beansheaf Community Pre-school for more information: 07504 956 168 or 0118 945 4312 or click HERE for details).  This will guarantee you a set near the entertainment whilst enjoying afternoon tea which is kindly being provided by the Beansheaf Community Pre-school.

The Kennet Valley Community Club will be running a bar (please note the bar is chargeable).

Holybrook's celebration runs alongside some national events including The Last Post at 14:55 and a Toast to the Nation's Heroes at 15:00.

Keep an eye on our website, Facebook page and Parish Noticeboards for more information as it happens.

We cannot wait to see you there fore this wonderful community event.
